Tare — named for the act of zeroing a scale before you weigh — is a body-measurement and composition tracker that goes past logging. Record your measurements and Tare turns them into real insight: report tiles like BMI, FFMI, RFM, BRI, waist-to-height and symmetry scoring, trend charts with forecasting, and goals tied to the dates that matter. It can track far more than Apple Health has types for. Version 2.0 adds competitions with friends, an Apple Watch app, a Home Screen widget and Siri support. And it's private by construction — no analytics, no tracking, no third-party code and no developer servers; your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, and the only thing anyone else sees is what you choose to put into a competition.
